Far Flung Adventures’ Texas River Music Series began in the early 1980’s as 3 day river trips down the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park, where our favorite entertainers join us for 3 days on the river with gourmet meals and private campfire performances under the magnificent Big Bend sky. We first hosted Steven Fromholz, and soon after Butch Hancock, Jerry Jeff Walker, Peter Rowan, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and many others over the years. In Fall of 2024, Texas River Music launches its next season of musical adventures in the Big Bend of the Rio Grande. Same rules apply: Comfortable, fully guided adventure in beautiful surroundings. Feast on the Flood cuisine. Intimate musical performances by incredible artists in the middle of nowhere.
