TEXAS RIVER MUSIC PLANNING

Texas River Music Where to Stay

Where to Stay Before the Trip

Texas River Music Fall 2026 will assemble at 9:00 am on Day 1 at the Boquillas Port of Entry inside Big Bend National Park. On Thursday afternoon, we encourage participants to meet us at DB’s Rustic Iron Barbecue, on TX 170, about 5 mile west of the junction with TX 118 between 3 and 6 pm. There we issue waterproof bags and make sure you have everything you need.

There are a variety of accommodations in and near Terlingua, from standard road side motel, to restored miner’s quarters, to vacation rentals of all descriptions. CLICK HERE for a definitive list of lodging options.

Personal recommendation:

Villa Terlingua is the creation of Cynta de Narvaez, a former Far Flung Adventures river guide. Dry stack masonry is an abandoned art. The view from the patio is iconic. For a complete range of lodging options, and useful information about your trip to Big Bend, check out www.visitbigbend.com
